1. Who We Are

eevy.India (accessible at eevy.in) is an EV infrastructure and readiness assessment platform operated in India. We help prospective EV buyers understand readiness in their area, and we collect anonymised ownership experience data from existing EV owners to improve those assessments.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information:

a) Readiness Assessment (prospective buyers)

• Your approximate location (city / pin code)

• Vehicle preferences you enter into the assessment form

• No account creation or login is required

b) Ownership Experience Assessment (existing EV owners)

• Vehicle details: make, model, variant, year of purchase, city of use

• Ownership experience responses across buying, day-to-day use, service, and support

• Contact details (name and email) — only if you voluntarily choose to share them

• Technical metadata: timestamp, referrer URL, browser user-agent

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your personalised readiness assessment result

• To build and improve aggregated, anonymised datasets on EV ownership patterns in India

• To share anonymised, aggregated insights with OEMs, fleet operators, insurers, and infrastructure developers — never individual-level data

• To contact you only if you explicitly opted in and provided your email

4. Anonymity and Data Sharing

The ownership experience form is anonymous by default. We do not ask for your name or contact details unless you choose to provide them. When we share data with third parties (OEMs, insurers, developers), it is always in aggregated, non-identifiable form. We do not sell individual records.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your responses are stored in a secure database (Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure). We implement rate limiting and input sanitisation on all form submissions. Access to raw data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. We may use minimal analytics to understand page-level traffic (e.g., page views, form completion rates). No cross-site tracking is performed.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to request deletion of any personally identifiable information you submitted. To do so, email us at the contact address below with a description of the data submitted (approximate date and form used). We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not directed at persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The effective date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
